The Definitive Dispergo E-Liquid Guide For Vapers

When browsing through our pages of e-liquid products, it is not surprising that you may start to feel a tad overwhelmed by the sheer amount of choice.

We get it – there are a lot of different brands, flavours, and nicotine strengths to choose from, but that is the beauty of vaping. You get to have this amazing plethora of tastes and flavours at your disposal. Doubtless, you will discover your favourites that you will keep going back to, but we love it when our customers seek out and try a different e-cigarette liquid flavour profile. That sense of ‘e-liquid’ adventure is what sets our Dispergo customers apart.

What exactly is an ‘e-liquid’?

Let’s go back to basics and understand what e-liquids are.

The two key ingredients are Vegetable Glycerine (VG) and Propylene Glycol (PG). As you scroll through our e-liquid deals, you will see that the descriptions usually state the blend share of VG and PG in each flavour.

The PG is the element that carries the flavour, and the VG is what creates the clouds. A 50/50 blend will give you a good throat hit akin to smoking a cigarette, with good flavour intensity and less cloud. A higher VG of around 70VG/30PG will give adequate flavour and greater cloud but is gentler on the throat.

Bear in mind that a vape e-liquid with a higher VG is thicker in consistency, which means that it is harder to vaporise. Consequently, you need to make sure that your vape kit is more powerful. You need to find out more about sub-ohm vaping, which is fitted with coils and can produce some fantastic clouds. Feel free to ask us about some of the sub-ohm we stock.

What happens to the e-liquid when I vape?

When your vaping kit is powered up, it heats the liquid until it vaporises. You then inhale this vapour. All e-liquid deals in the UK are regulated by the MHRA Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency to protect you against poor quality and cheap alternatives that might be imported by unregulated and untrustworthy third parties.

At Dispergo, we guarantee that all our e-liquid products meet these strict criteria as outlined in the TPD Tobacco Products Directive, which governs vaping products throughout the EU.

Nicotine Strength

The strength of nicotine in the e-liquid is an area that is of real importance to serious vapers – particularly those who are making a conscious move away from smoking cigarettes. You can choose the level of nicotine according to the number of cigarettes that you would normally smoke. This will ensure that you are receiving a similar ‘hit’ level and will help you in your bid to stop smoking completely.

Nicotine strength in the e-liquid is usually measured per 10ml bottle, and those who are probably used to smoking more than 10 cigarettes a day would be wise to initially choose a nicotine content of between 18 to 20mg. For lighter smokers (up to 10 maximum), then a nicotine strength of 12 to 18mg is suitable. Occasional smokers are advised to stick with the lower nicotine strength of e-liquid – between 6 to 12mg.

You can also choose to have no nicotine in your e-liquid and just enjoy the flavours instead.

A Smorgasbord of Flavours

When you begin to explore the incredible range of flavours that are available through Dispergo, you begin to truly understand why vaping has massively overtaken cigarette smoking. We have probably the best e-liquid choice, including well-known brands such as Jack Rabbit, Rachael Rabbit and Cyber Rabbit, Doozy, 13 Squid and Unreal.

Finding your favourite flavours will always be a process of trial and error. However, Dispergo has an incredible amount of knowledge and expertise and will always guide you in the direction of flavour profiles that you may be interested in. For example, if you are seeking out the best watermelon e-liquid, we would probably steer you in the direction of Fresco Fruits or Rachael Rabbit, for example.

What is the shelf life of a vape e-liquid?

E-liquids have a good long shelf life – upwards of a year for many. We have never had any e-liquid returned to us because it has ‘gone off’, mainly because they are so popular and so well-liked that our customers use and replace them regularly. The reality is that e-liquids tend not to ‘go off’ anyway – simply that if left for years at a time the flavour profile changes so will no longer taste as originally intended.

In fact, many of our dessert and tobacco flavoured shortfill e-liquids actually taste better the longer they are left to ‘steep’ – left to mature like a fine wine.

Why Experimenting with E-liquids Offers Value at Dispergo

We are so committed to ensuring that our customers have a continuously positive vaping experience that we have launched our very own Dispergo Satisfaction Guarantee scheme. If you are in any way not happy with any e-liquid which is ‘stamped’ with the DSG guarantee – which includes it simply not being to your taste – then we will exchange it for something else completely free of charge. We’ll even pay the postage to return the vape juice that you are not happy with! How’s that for risk free vaping!
